PRODUCT INFORMATION
Behind the name XPZ stands for the continuous endeavor to create products outstandingly different in design, materials and quality – serving the aims of functionality, wearer – comfort and ageless beauty. For this reason, XPZ is mainly using stainless steel with mineral crystal.
It is thanks to these especially resistant materials that, with normal wear, your XPZ watch will keep its beauty and brilliance for years. However, in extreme cases, XPZ’s exceptional materials may be damaged by equally hard or harder materials such as diamond corundum, metallic oxides or quartz crystals. Grindstone, sandpaper, nail files, granite surfaces, concrete walls etc. may contain particles of such materials and thus cause scratching. Therefore, a certain amount of care should be taken. Damages caused by such materials are not covered by the international guarantee.
*Hard-metals, sapphire crystal and high-tech ceramics are scratch proof but they are not indestructible-hard, knocks or dropping the watch onto a hard surface should absolutely be avoided.
Precision
The name XPZ guarantees a quality watch movement of the greatest precision.
Theoretical deviation in timekeeping:
Quartz watches: maximum 15 seconds per month
Automatic watches: -5 to +20 seconds per day
Water-resistant
XPZ watches have the word (WATER RESISTANT) engraved on the case back. These watches, depend on your purchased collection, can withstand water pressure up to 5 ATM (Precaution: submerging your XPZ watch isn't recommended and shouldn't be used for scuba diving, water skiing, or other activities involving high velocity water or submersion below shallow depth).
To ensure permanent water-resistance, the watch must be checked by our service technician once a year or after every battery change. Water resistance isn't a permanent condition and may diminish over time. The following may affect the water resistance of your XPZ watch and should be avoided: Dropping the watch or subjecting it to other impacts; or exposing the watch to soap or soapy water, for example while showering or bathing; or exposing the watch to perfume, solvents, detergent, acids or acidic foods, insect repellent, lotions, sunscreen, oil, or hair dye; or exposing the watch to high pressure water, for example while water skiing; or wearing the watch in the sauna or steam room.
Quartz Watches
XPZ Quartz watches are equipped with top-quality batteries. The battery must be changed when the second hand starts to move in 4-second intervals. The accuracy of your XPZ watch is still not impaired, but the battery should be changed within the next few days. Battery exhaustion in a watch without second hand becomes apparent only when the hands completely stop moving.
Important: the exhausted battery should be changed as soon as possible in order to avoid the risk of electrolyte leaking and damaging the movement. Please make sure that your XPZ watch is checked for water-resistance after every battery change.
